NY: Harper & Brothers. Book is in Very Good + condition. 100% Gild present. Light rubs and stains to boards, inflaps to original dust jacket are taped to inside front board and first blank page. Comes with a reproduction dust jacket.

This is the Rare Second Printing (B-K). Unlike the First Printing that had a black spine and cream colored binding, the Second Printing is completely black with Silver Gilt.

Book is in good+ condition. Corners are rubbed. Cover and pages yellowed with age. Writing and highlighting throughout, with previous owners name and stamp on first blank page. Sticker on front of dust jacket is on the protective BroDart cover and not on the dust jacket. Reproduction Dust Jacket in Very good + condition.

NY: Alcoholics Anonymous Publishing, Inc., 1953 First Edition D-C stated, Hardcover 192pp. Book is inscribed By Bill Wilson 6/18/1958 To Yevelin Gardner. Yev was a close friend of Bill Wilson and was Marty Mann's first assistant when she became the first director of the National Council on Alcoholism.

The inscription reads: “To Yev – In gratitude for your recovery and for your real service to so many – Devotedly Bill NY 6/18/53” On first blank page with Yvelin Gardner's book plate 3"x4" on inside front board “Ex Libris Yvelin Gardner” book plate has two light stains on it. Other than light aging to pages book is in FINE condition. Book has its Original dust jacket (price unclipped $2.75) in Very Good condition with chips out of top and bottom in a BroDart acid free protective cover.
